マツダのクロスオーバー『CX-5』の次期型プロトタイプをカメラが捉えました。
LEDと思われる新ヘッドライトは薄く切れ上がり、リアコンビランプと共に、よりスポーティーに。
フロントグリルはワイドになり立体感を持たせ、存在感が増しています。また、サイドビューを見ると、フロントオーバーハングがかなり切り詰められているのが分かります。
パワートレインは『CX-9』から流用される2.5リッター直噴ターボエンジンの「SKYACTIV-G 2.5T」が搭載される可能性が高く、2リットル直列4気筒、2.2リットル直列4気筒ディーゼルもラインナップ予定です。
ワールドプレミアは2016年11月のロサンゼルスモーターショーが最有力と思われます。
